OMOM®

Endoscopic Capsule System with Artificial Intelligence

OMOM® is an advanced endoscopic capsule system developed for minimally invasive evaluation of the gastrointestinal tract, especially the small intestine.

With high-definition technology and integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI), the system provides greater diagnostic efficiency, agility in image analysis and optimization of medical time.

How the OMOM® endoscopic capsule works

The patient swallows a capsule equipped with a microcamera that naturally travels through the gastrointestinal tract, capturing thousands of images along the way.

The exam is:
• Non-invasive;
• No need for sedation;
• Performed on an outpatient basis;
• Comfortable for the patient.

The images are transmitted to an external recorder and later analyzed using dedicated OMOM® software.

Artificial Intelligence applied to the report

The OMOM® system features Artificial Intelligence technology integrated into the analysis software, capable of:

• Automatically identifying possible changes;
• Highlighting suspicious areas;
• Reducing image review time;
• Increasing workflow efficiency.

With AI support, the physician can complete the exam analysis in approximately 15 minutes, depending on the
complexity of the case and the experience of the performing physician.

The technology acts as a support tool and does not replace the professional’s clinical judgment.
