Spatz3® is a 12-month adjustable intragastric balloon indicated as a non-surgical alternative
to assist with weight control, always with medical follow-up and multidisciplinary support.
Unlike conventional balloons, Spatz3® allows volume adjustment throughout the treatment,
providing greater personalization according to the patient’s clinical response and tolerance.
How Spatz3® Works
The procedure is performed endoscopically, with sedation, in an appropriate environment.
After insertion, the balloon is filled and begins to occupy part of the gastric volume,
contributing to:
• Early satiety sensation;
• Support for changes in eating habits;
• Better control of food intake.
During follow-up, the physician may make volume adjustments when clinically indicated.
